Its a gas law that pV=C is the equation. Its pressure times volume equals constant. Its the relationship between pressure and volume.

History of Chemistry:Chemistry started way back in the 1700 B.C. with black magic. Then in 300 B.C. alchemy formed. then in 17th century traditional chemistry formed. Robert Boyle made the difference between alchemy and chemistry. Chemistry was formed from alchemy by doing experiments and recording the results. Now there is modern chemistry which started in 19th century and is still here in present day.
Alchemy:The main goals of alchemy were changing metals into gold, they wanted to find a remedy that would cure all diseases and have prolong life. It was unsuccessful.
